Selenite Lamps

From the Greek words ‘selene’ meaning ‘moon’ and ‘lithos’ for ‘stone’,  Selenite is found in Mexico, Russia, Greece, Poland, Germany, France, England, Austraila, and the US. The colour varies from pure white to orange, peach, grey-blue, green or even brown.

Selenite is the ultimate crystal cleansing and programming stone. If you hold selenite in your hand, especially a wand, you should be able to feel the energy within. Flat pieces are useful as healing wands. Once activated the vibration is powerful. Selenite is also fast and effective in clearing the auric field as well as any congested or negative energy from the physical or etheric body. The lamps are particularly effective for building an energy grid in the home.

It is known to help with raising awareness, with understanding the deeper meaning in things and with strengthening decisions. It also aligns the spine and neutralises mercury poisoning. Meditating while holding a piece of selenite will release stress quickly.

From a naturally clear or opaque form of gypsum crystal, it gives out a calm and peaceful energy and its fine vibration brings clarity of mind. Although an ancient stone, it is one of the most powerful crystals for the current age and the intensity of its energy is greater than almost any other crystal for the upper chakras.
